Hello fellow sewers!,

Emma here, and yes I am by myself and as you can tell by the title it is my b day,

well not really but I am to excited to post because I will probably not post

tomorrow, that's why I will be posting today. The only problem is my dad works on

Wednesday so we have to celebrate on Thursday with my dad not Wednesday.

Here is something fun to share~ is that I am getting my own room, finally! and I am so happy because I don't have to live with my brothers! YAY! 

 

SOMETHING GOOD THAT HAPPENED is that

I got a new sewing machine...YAY! Now it is more quieter YAY! So that all happened in the last couple days so bye fellow quilters!;D

a new shipment of fabric from Emma's Aunt Dixie. The fabrics were beautiful!

Dear fellow quilters, Our last meeting we did lots of stuff including...

Opening more boxes, painting, cooking and writing THANK YOU!! notes to all the people that sent us fabric.

Also we love painting, that is our second favorite thing!! (hobby).

WE FINISHED OUR FIRST 2 QUILTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We missed TARA at our sewing day, she had a traveling soccer game!

If you look closely you can see our team kite on the back of each quilt!

We were sorting the fabric that we got in the mail.

We were playing with it like fabric hair!

We divided the fabric into four piles. Our cousin Nathan helped and wants to join this is what he thinks''kiten''..........................?

Were are having a meating for that!

Were are hoping for penpals from KENYA!

6 BAGS OF MAIL!

FINILLIY, we got 6 bags of scraps from our quilting friends all aroud the country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!~

I wish I can open them,but I have to wait for K,I,T.~

our next meeting is the 9th of November and I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time to buy our quilt backing,a lunch meeting and a new project!

We had a meeting at one of our favorite restaurants!!

 

Today is the day we picked out the backing fabric for our two quilts. We have a contest to see who can buy 4 yards of fabric at the best price~

 Success!!

Back to Nana E's sewing room to work on our next quilt project for KITE Kwitz~We are making scrappy star quilts and are making our first BIG pile of strips!!
